Abstract

|
Generally, care of patients after coarctation repair is similar to that accorded any patients after thoracotomy or open heart surgery. However, the list of possible complications both during and following coarctation repair is extensive, and their prevention requires careful attention to all their details of the technique. So, cardiac surgeons and the intensivists should be aware of possible complications and its management.
